Haven is an untraceable cryptocurrency that utilizes a built-in smart contract to control the minting and burning of coins. It offers a hybrid of standard market pricing and stable fiat value storage without requiring unsustainable assets or pegs. The cryptocurrency allows users to send their coins to offshore storage contracts, which protects the coin's value and allows for exposure to natural price fluctuations. In these contracts, the fiat value of the Haven currency being sent offshore (burned) is recorded on the blockchain and can be restored back into Haven by minting new coins equivalent to the initial fiat value. This system has applications for point of sale systems and storing large amounts outside the traditional banking system. Haven's protocol is both decentralized and open source with no central control over the network. The usage of ring signatures, ring confidential transactions, and stealth addresses ensures transaction and user anonymity.
