Collateral is a next-generation payment gateway connecting the crypto and fiat worlds. Users can store, stake, loan, and spend their cryptocurrencies through the Collateral Pay service by locking their cryptocurrencies in a smart contract. Collateral then pays the equivalent fiat currency to any merchant that accepts its service. The user can retrieve their cryptocurrency by repaying what was spent. Collateral also offers Collateral Loan, where users can secure low-interest loans using their cryptocurrencies as collateral. In addition to these services, COLL is the native utility token of the Collateral ecosystem which holders can stake to earn rewards. COLL also allows holders to earn COLLG, a secondary token used for platform governance. COLL staking pools will be available on the same day as the Token Generation Event (TGE).
