Beefy Finance is an automated decentralized finance (DeFi) yield optimizer platform that seeks to maximize its users' rewards from various liquidity pools, automated market making projects, and other yield farming opportunities. It provides its platform with a limited supply of 80,000 $BIFI tokens, which serve as its native governance token. Through staking $BIFI tokens, platform holders are entitled to voting rights and earn profits generated by the platform. This is done through a set of investment strategies and enforced by smart contracts. It is audited by Certik and available on major exchanges. Fees incurred include a performance fee (distributed back to $BIFI stakers) and a deposit/withdrawal fee (shared with all other stakers) of 0.1% or less, as well as network transaction fees.
